Krillion With a Friend

One private room. Two players. The same ten questions. The live lobby is the multiplayer challenge; this page is the briefing so the first match is not a guess.

Join a room you already have

Paste the eight-character code from your friend. You still enter a nickname on the next screen and press Join room. Codes use letters and the digits 2–9.

Run the match in order

  1. Open the live lobby. Go to the Krillion multiplayer challenge and enter a nickname. A nickname is enough; the room does not ask for an account or a real name.
  2. Create or join. Create a room to receive an eight-character code and an invite link, or type a friend's code and join. The room holds two players.
  3. Ready, then the same ten prompts. Both players press Ready. A shared three-second countdown opens question one. You each have 25 seconds per answer, on the same prompts in the same order.
  4. Continue within 60 seconds. After feedback, press Next question within 60 seconds and stay connected. Being offline for 60 seconds, or waiting too long on feedback, forfeits the match.
  5. Read the result. The higher score wins. Lower total answer time breaks a tie. An exact tie is a draw. A player who forfeits cannot win. Opponent answers stay hidden until the result.

Before you invite someone

The playable room, the copy-invite button, and the ready check all live on the Krillion multiplayer challenge. Leaving mid-match asks you to confirm, then records the rest of your questions as skipped. Privacy explains what the server stores. Strategy covers the answer decision the match will score.

Friend-match questions

Can two people play Krillion with a friend on this site?

Yes. The live room is a private two-player match: one invite, ten shared prompts, and a server-checked score. It is independent practice, with no prizes and no official Krillion account.

How long does a Krillion friend room last?

The room expires one hour after it is created, including time spent waiting. An expired room cannot be resumed. Leaving before the match frees your seat. Leaving during play forfeits it.

Is a friend match the same as Krillion daily practice?

No. Daily practice is a solo seven-question route shared by the UTC date. A friend match is ten shared prompts in a private room, and the winner is decided by score, then by answer time.
