Krillion Rules

The exact rules for this independent practice game. For a first-round walkthrough, see how to play Krillion.

One question, one accepted answer

Name one thing that meets every limit in the prompt. A matching answer earns its fixed practice score and closes that question. You cannot replace an accepted answer with a higher-scoring one afterward. Different listed aliases of the same answer earn the same score.

The 25-second window

The timer starts when a question opens, not when you begin typing. Switching tabs or reloading does not restart it. A submission at or after the deadline is a timeout. Text still in the box is not automatically submitted; the question scores zero.

Feedback is not timed. The next question's clock begins only after you continue. Quick and daily practice are always timed. Unlimited and Infinite offer timed or untimed play before starting.

Matching, retries and skips

Capitalization and extra spaces do not matter. Accepted alternate spellings and abbreviations are stored explicitly. We do not guess a fuzzy match because a similar name may identify a different thing.

An unlisted response stays editable while time remains. It may be a valid fact missing from our list, not necessarily a wrong answer. Skip records zero. Ending a fixed-length dive marks remaining questions skipped; Infinite ends after the current question is recorded.

Daily practice and saved progress

Our daily practice chooses the same seven independent prompts for everyone on a UTC date and changes at 00:00 UTC. It is not today's official puzzle and is not a once-per-day restriction. Question-bank revisions can change the route; the version is shown with the sources.

Solo progress and the last twenty completed dives stay on this browser when local storage is available. Clearing progress deletes that record. Unseen questions are preferred, then the finite bank repeats. A saved round from an incompatible bank version is reported rather than silently restored.

Official rules are separate

The publisher controls the original Daily Dive, paid packs, accepted sets and official rarity ratings. Check the official FAQ for those details. Our scoring guide explains the independent six-tier practice scale.
